In TV shows there’s the star, the one that’s “supposed” to be the lead, the center of attention…
But there are always the sidekicks. The ones backing the leads up, or playing their bestfriends. And almost always, they fade in the shadow of the “star”…
Here are some of the “sidekicks” that have AMAZING talent, yet are overshadowed by the lead star…
#1: Jennette McCurdy A.K.A. Sam Puckett- iCarly
Jennette is the best. She’s great at acting, she’s comedic, has a fun attitude, and is also an incredibly talented singer. I’ve always liked her more than Miranda even from the start of iCarly. And I know the exact reasons why…
Jennette deserves more attention and appreciation that is equaled by her talent. I’ll always be one of her fans and supporters. She’s simply amazing…
#2: Ariana Grande A.K.A. Cat Valentine- Victorious
Ariana, there is so much I can say about her. She is PURE TALENT. Ari has been on Broadway, and sang live in many events. Her voice is so angelic, and her acting skills are so honed, creative, and cute.
Ariana Grande needs to get her own show, where she’s the lead. I would watch that. I was also gonna say that she should also make her own album, but she’s already on that…
In short, Ariana is one of the best in the industry, she deserves to leave the shadow of the sidekick and shine.
#3: Emily Osment A.K.A. Lily Truscott- Hannah Montana
Emily, oh Emily. Like Jennette, I’ve always liked her better than Miley from the start of Hannah Montana. Her acting style always amuses me, and she’s really amazing at it.
And don’t even get me started on her voice. Emily’s voice is incredible! She should have been the lead of Hannah Montana! She beats Miley outright.
She hasn’t gone bad at all, in fact she’s getting even better. And these are the role models kids need these days. Kind of like the role models I had when I was a little kid who are also from Disney. Like Hilary and Raven, who even up until now are still good and are doing great in their careers.
